Some colours decorate. Others make a statement. Red is the second kind.
Most people order a wardrobe so that it disappears into the interior. We made this one to be looked at. It stands in our exposition not as furniture but as a statement — that a wardrobe can be as much a part of your character as the clothes hanging inside it.
First, the shadow
Closed, it is almost silent. Grey tinted glass in a slim black FLAT profile hides the colour like a veil. All you see is a hint: a deep silhouette, a contour of light, a secret.
Then, the reveal
You slide the door — and the red flares up. In its own red light, Egger U311 laminate stops being just red: it saturates, deepens, turns almost velvety, like old wine held to the light. Right here, on the border between dark glass and open colour, begins the reason we made it.
At night it is light, not furniture
In a dark interior the wardrobe becomes ambient light: a soft red glow behind the black console, an even warm 4000K inside. A dimmer makes it quieter or louder — to suit your mood, the evening, the music. Part of the Häfele lighting is switched by sensors hidden behind the laminate, part from your phone via Bluetooth. No visible switches — just light that answers you.
Details not everyone will notice
- shoes sit at an angle on a black Egger U999 console — like pieces in a gallery, lit from below in red;
- on the back wall, an MDF panel with vertical slats in matt NCS S 6500-N. It is not for storage but for light: the red falls across the slats in rhythm, like ribbed velvet;
- a code-lock safe is hidden in a drawer;
- inside: Blum Tandem, GTV organisers, trouser rack and shoe rack — everything that must work flawlessly, does.

It is not for everyone
Not everyone will see the beauty here. Some will say “too much”. To us, that is the best compliment. This wardrobe is for people with character — those who are not afraid of colour and want their space to speak in their voice.
And this is just one version
We love experimenting with colour and we are not afraid of it. An emerald carcass with bronze glass, graphite with gold hardware, deep blue in cool light — carcass, glass, hardware and lighting can be combined to match your character.
Exposition size: 2286 × 2580 mm, carcass depth 580 mm.
Price: from €3,800 incl. VAT. The final price depends on size, materials and interior fittings.
