Private house. Riga, Latvia. 2025. This project features custom furniture and interior design tailored to the unique needs of a family home.
The Art of Realization: When Every Millimeter Matters
Creating a premium interior is always a close synergy between creativity and precise calculation. Today, we are pulling back the curtain on our workflow, using a comprehensive private home furnishing project as an example. This project is the result of a close and successful collaboration between rigasmebeles.lv and interior designer Irina Trunkova.

Interior Designer — Irina Trunkova..
The project was realized based on the design concept by Trunkova design(@trunkovadesign). The interior features precise proportions, a logical flow of movement, and thoughtful furniture placement. Nothing is left to chance. Everything is dedicated to a sense of balance and inner tranquility.

- Egger H1303 BROWN BELMONT OAK
- Matte painted MDF, color NCS S6500-N
- Milled and slatted facades
- Integrated 3000K LED lighting
Stage 1: From Idea to Concept
Any serious project begins with technical documentation. We are deeply convinced: high-quality furniture is impossible without meticulous preparation of the space.
- Architectural Foundation: Together with the designer, we develop floor plans, as well as demolition and partition wall construction layouts.
- Engineering Precision: We design detailed electrical and plumbing plans. Our production’s golden rule: we only proceed to furniture design once the site foreman has approved all outlets and connection points. This eliminates any errors during the installation of built-in appliances and LED lighting..

Stage 2: Individuality in Materials
The selection of finishes, facades, and hardware is the moment a home gains its character. For this project, the client chose a modern dark palette, which we complemented with the warmth of natural textures.
- Consultation and Selection: We offer a wide range of modern materials and hardware. We always advise on what best suits each individual client, based on their lifestyle, layout, and preferences.
- Material Aesthetics: In this project, we combined deep matte MDF NCS S6500-N with noble EGGER H1303 oak. “Milled lath-style facades added the necessary depth and rhythm to the interior. We applied this technique in various zones to emphasize the project’s overall style and visually unify all the spaces.

Stage 3: Production and Assembly
- Once the aesthetics and functionality have been approved by the designer and the client, the project moves to its most crucial stage — engineering implementation.
- Technological Design: Each project is handed over to our technologist for detailed development. At this stage, precise design documentation is created: the specialist calculates every joint, considers the technical parameters of the hardware, and the specific characteristics of the built-in appliances. Only after every technical nuance has been verified down to the millimeter are the drawings sent to the production workshop.
- Assembly: As soon as all materials are ready, the process moves to the workshop. Here, craftsmen assemble the modules, install the hardware, and mount the facades. We conduct a full inspection of all systems — from the smooth gliding of drawers to the operation of complex sliding mechanisms (such as HAWA Concepta).
- Final Inspection and Preparation: Only after the furniture is fully equipped, adjusted, and has passed internal quality control is it prepared for delivery.
- Furniture is delivered on-site as pre-assembled modules. This not only significantly accelerates the installation process but also ensures impeccable cleanliness during assembly and the flawless operation of all systems from the very first second.

Stage 4: Professional Installation and Final Result
- Installation is the moment of truth, where months of collaboration between the designer, technologist, and production team take their final shape. Because every calculation was meticulously verified during the design phase, the installation process is seamless and precise.
- Cleanliness and Speed: Since the furniture is delivered on-site as pre-assembled modules, the installation process minimizes dust and noise. We value our clients’ time and the sanctity of their homes.
- The Final Result: In this project, we achieved a 100% match with the original vision. The dark furniture tones, combined with warm concrete floors and soft 3000K lighting, created the exact cozy atmosphere the client envisioned.

The resulting interior is seamless and unified; not a single detail is accidental. Every element—from the kitchen to the children’s room—is perfectly positioned, reinforcing our guiding principle: in execution, every millimeter counts.
