Worktops
How to choose the right worktop?
A worktop can be monolithic or consist of several elements. Choosing a worktop is just as important as kitchen facades and built-in appliances, because its tone is what reinforces and complements the overall color scheme of the kitchen.
It is equally important to choose the appropriate worktop color. The choice should be well considered, therefore it is recommended to familiarize yourself with each type of material separately. The main selection criteria are budget, lifestyle, and service life. When choosing a specific material, it is important to clarify the advantages of each type. The material you choose will be the starting point for the overall cost, however it should be remembered that the quality and durability of the worktop are a significant investment.
Although some materials are more visually attractive than others, it should be taken into account that in order for a worktop to retain its beauty for a long time, regular maintenance is required.
It is recommended to start choosing a worktop with the most economical option: laminated chipboard (DSP).
Wide selection of worktop materials

Laminate worktops
Laminate worktops are affordable for any buyer, as their prices are more accessible than artificial or natural stone worktops. These worktops have a very wide color range and are resistant to mechanical and chemical impact.
This is exactly the type of worktop that will withstand daily use. It is able to endure all everyday loads and challenges.
Laminate worktops are manufactured on a DSP base, which consists of an advanced (cellulose) board covered with a polymer layer. A durable plastic coating impregnated with resins is used for the surface. The plastic is applied to the base by heating under high pressure. This DSP cladding technology is called “Postforming”. Thanks to this method, the edges of the worktop can be rounded, thereby protecting them from moisture.
The standard thickness of the worktop is 38 mm, the depth can reach up to 1200 mm, and the maximum sheet length is up to 4000 mm. Worktops manufactured using the “Postforming” technology can be formed with a curve on one or both opposite sides. If you need a worktop for everyday use that is durable and does not require complex maintenance, choose a laminate worktop.
They are easy to maintain and reliable in use. Hot objects, spilled wine, oil, or coffee will not leave any marks. A wide selection of colors and textures is available. Worktop decors can imitate natural wood, granite, marble, and other stones.
Advantages:
- Reasonable price;
- High durability;
- Wide selection of colors and textures;
- Retains color after prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light;
- Easy to install;
- Easy to clean.
Disadvantages:
- When joining two or more worktops, seams will be visible. Usually, worktops are connected using a “joining strip”;
- In case of mechanical damage, repair is not possible.
Artificial stone
worktops
Nowadays, artificial stone surfaces are successfully used in residential interiors, restaurants, beauty salons, etc. Artificial stone products are hygienic, resistant to mechanical impact, and easy to repair, and these properties are comparable to those of solid stone worktops.
When used and maintained properly, artificial stone worktops will always look stylish and attractive, like new.

Quartz agglomerate
worktops
A quartz worktop consists of 95% natural quartz granules and binding polyester resins. This composition distinguishes it from other surface materials by its exceptionally high resistance to mechanical impact, scratches, and high temperatures. Quartz is one of the strongest minerals in nature, significantly surpassing such natural stones as marble and granite, уступая in strength only to diamond.
Quartz worktops do not have a porous structure, therefore they do not absorb liquids and do not accumulate odors. The natural quartz surface is resistant to the effects of any cleaning and washing agents. The only drawback can be considered visible joints, however they are minimally noticeable. If the product can be manufactured from a single slab, joints are not required at all.
Slabs with a thickness from 12 mm to 30 mm are used for worktop manufacturing, with a slab size of 1400 mm × 3050 mm.
Natural stone worktops look elegant, give the interior solidity and a representative appearance, and serve for many years while maintaining their original quality and aesthetics. With us, you can purchase quartz worktops in various shades and designs.
Quartz agglomerate consists of fillers, various pigment additives, and polymer resins. The properties of the finished product directly depend on the quality of the raw materials used. The main difference between different compositions is the type of polymer resin used as a binder.
In quartz agglomerate, epoxy resins are used as the binder. This material is stronger and more heat-resistant (up to +150 °C) than acrylic stone, therefore it is better protected against scratches and the effects of hot cookware.
Acrylic stone
worktops
The surface of acrylic products is water-resistant and non-porous, which ensures easy maintenance, it does not absorb dirt and grease and does not emit any toxic substances. Products made of acrylic stone can be manufactured in any color, size, and shape. All joints are perfectly polished and become completely invisible, therefore the worktop looks like a single solid piece.
In the case of mechanical damage, the original appearance of an acrylic stone product is easy to restore, all scratches can be removed with simple sanding.
